About Fabian Seed Farms
Our farm dates back three generations when my grandfather, John
Fabian immigrated here from Slovakia in 1932. 
Even as a child, I had
a keen interest in farming, and by the age of 13, had set my sights
on being a farmer. I attended Olds College, taking Crop Production as a major. I began
farming in 1986 when I bought my first farm. The following year I
raised my first pedigreed seed crop.
Since that time we have gradually increased the number of varieties
that we offer for sale, focusing mainly on cereal crops. Being
farmers ourselves, we know how stressful seeding time can be, and
have continually looked for ways to make this time of year easier
for our customers.
For example, we have installed a scale on the farm and have located
all our bins in one yard to eliminate the need for extra travel.
Also, we have a seed treater that can treat the seed right on to the
truck so the customer can go straight to the field.

- Multiple ways to pay. To meet your needs, Fabian Seed Farms offers numerous ways to pay that work best for your operation. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Agline, Debit, Scotia Ag Credit, and of course, cheques.
- Alberta Environment Farm Plan. For those of you who have existing Environmental Farm Plans and require it, we are setup to provide you with Declarations of Conformity and supporting documentation on every seed purchase you make from us. This will help us ensure that you keep your EFP on track, and in compliance with the guidelines you set out for your operation.
- Delivery available. For those of you who are just too busy to pick up your seed, or perhaps you aren't sure your truck will pass all the DOT regulations on the road, relax. We now offer delivery of seed to your farm. Whether a big load or small, we can usually accommodate your request in a timely manner. All that is required on your end is an auger and a bin or truck to load into. Call us about our competitive delivery rates.
- State of the art seed treating, new since 2007. Delayed by one year, we are set to use our new seed treater for the upcoming 2008 seeding season. In addition to putting on your fungicides, we will now be able to apply micro-nutrients and/or Jumpstart with greater accuracy than ever. The new configuration means a more thorough clean out and better efficiency to get you back on the field faster, safer.
